Brentford to Limehouse – 13 May 2012

We set off from our moorings at 0645, in order to start locking out at Thames locks (two now back in operation!) at 0715, Then, after assembling the flotilla in Brent Creek, a gentle run down to Hammersmith, with lots of rowers. Paused briefly on the Dove Pier moorings, just after the tide had turned, and then our first bit of formation cruising down to Limehouse, with lots of PLA boats and marshals in attendance.Quite lumpy in Kings Reach. 17 miles, 3 locks. We then explored Limehouse Cut and the Lea as far as Old Ford Lock – see video someone took of us passing Three Mills.
