Boarded my parents easily at West India, and then more photos with Grumpy Bear too. See the second article on the subject in GOBA news.
Then a very gentle journey around the corner to Bow Creek, sticking to the north bank (with PLA permission, of course). We only just managed to get in at Bow – the tide was very high and nearly running over the bottom gates as we locked down into the Lee (no big drama, we would just have to wait for an hour for the water level to drop again). Explored Three Mills – including Christine in Ketura who was stuck waiting for the flows to drop – and the Tesco in Bow, before a gentle run along Limehouse cut to a rather emptier basin.
GPS tracker (start after 15 mins – see us punching the tide initially, and then speeding up as we turn into Bow Creek, and get the benefit of the flooding tide)
