Swimming in the Old West

Jeremy and five friends took the boat out from Ely to Aldreth on the Old West. They didn’t even think about trying to go through Hermitage, as the headroom was about four feet. See helpful tweet from the EA here, and a rather scary video of St Neots lock in “reversed” mode – ie the gates open at both ends.

But they did do some swimming, they claim.

Meanwhile, back at home, I upgraded the datacentre in the basement by adding a NAS (the big white box). I will be able to access it from anywhere…
